Performance Information
Recital Information
In addition to tuition, each performing student will need to meet the following requirements:
- A $70.00, all inclusive, costume payment for each class enrolled to be paid by November 1. Attractive, affordable costuming without the worry! No refunds and no costume balances! Students are responsible for tights and footwear only.
- A rehearsal/recital fee of $65.00 per individual or $110 per family to be paid by March 1. This fee helps to defray expenses of renting the theater for rehearsals, the recital, and reserves EACH INDIVIDUAL STUDENT FOUR TICKETS(a ticket for themselves and 3 additional tickets). FAMILIES WITH 2 OR MORE CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE EIGHT TICKETS!Extra tickets can be purchased at an additional cost.
- BONUS: EACH DANCENTRAL RECITAL STUDENT WILL RECEIVE A HD DIGITAL DOWNLOADABLE RECORDING OF EACH SHOW THEY ARE PERFORMING IN FREE!
- Satisfactory class attendance and participation in two mandatory rehearsals prior to the recital.
Note: No photographic equipment of any kind will be allowed in the auditorium the day of the recital. Non-flash pictures and video equipment are permitted at rehearsals only. The recital will be professionally recorded FREE of charge for our DCS families. Specific information regarding this and class photographs will be provided at a later date.
Special Presentations
Any students desiring to perform a solo, duet or trio in our June recital must have the permission of the faculty and must meet the following requirements in order to be considered:
- A minimum of four full years in five dance classes per week, one of which must be ballet
- Able to perform at an Intermediate – Advanced level in both technique and artistry
- Have the permission of the faculty
These sessions will be scheduled by the director and will total approximately 5 hours of instruction.
The cost is as follows:
Solo Presentation (5 hours) $325.00 each student
Duet/Trio Presentation (5 hours) $250.00 each student
Tuition for special presentations will post by the day of the first lesson and be due by the 14th of the month or a late fee will be applied. Students will be responsible for the cost of special presentation costumes.
